Tanja and Sian work with a process-oriented approach, valuing the wisdom of embodied knowledge and collective learning. Using music, movement, constellations, storytelling and ritual we are inspired by the work of Carl Jung, Joanna Macy, Anna Halprin, the early work of Bert Hellinger and Patrice Malidoma Somé among others. The training process involves both personal experience and development as well as extensive training in the theoretical map underlying the process. 

Our Training Vision 

Our vision for Ancestral Connections is to create a thriving community of facilitators that share our values of embodiment and connection to each other, our personal and collective ancestors and a community that supports a regenerative culture. 

Ancestral Connections facilitators will develop core skills of engaging in ceremony and movement to support life transitions and growth, and to hold the collective process as an integral system for self-development and healing.

The pillars of our practice are: embodiment, movement, music, myth and ancient story, ritual, trans-generational healing, creativity, nature and positive psychology.

Who is this training for? 

Whether you are looking to start up Ancestral Connections groups or are wanting to integrate this approach into your current professional practice (groups or one-to-ones), this training offers an embodied way of working with a map that will best support your practice and your personal and professional wellbeing.  

You will require a previous movement, constellations or psychotherapy training in order to qualify to train in Ancestral Connections. 

Your readiness is about your experience, embodiment and relational maturity and will be assessed through the application process that includes an interview.
